What is it?
We Want to Change the Way that Politics Works.
The Compassionate Party of Australia is a grass roots organisation aiming to bring compassion to the forefront in Australian politics; in the way that is conducted, and in the way that policies are developed and implemented.

We see ourselves as a uniting force, using education as our main tool against selfish and negligent politics in Australian society.
We believe that society now serves the economy, rather than the economy serving society, and we see competition as the driving force behind most socio-economic systems, so that there will always be winners and losers.
This is because competitiveness is divisive at its core; it is in its nature. This is apparent at the international, geopolitical level, where competition between countries leads to conflict, which is ultimately resolved by war. In this sense, war is the ultimate expression of competition.

In opposition to adversarial politics, The Compassionate Party of Australia represents a non-partisan approach to politics, founded on compassionate collaboration between all social groups and businesses, with the aim of sharing information to inspire and empower. We welcome people of all political persuasions.

We advocate for workplace testing for politicians, with the aim of preventing the potential for politicians who lack compassion, or may even be suffering from anti-social personality disorder, from serving in our parliaments. In this way, our governmental institutions will be made more functional and valuable for all groups in society.
The ultimate goal of The Compassionate Party of Australia is to have institutions of political power consisting of mentally fit individuals who are driven by goodwill.
So, let's bring in: the open minded, the talented, the curious, the sharing, the rebellious, the kind, the loving, the patient, the honest… the politicians that we can respect and perhaps even love one day.
The main agenda of The Compassionate Party of Australia is to provide a psychological test for politicians to determine their suitability for serving the people of Australia with compassion.
